End of Day Three, and all's well!
For some reason tonight, diarrhea kicked in. My doctor told me to expect some constipation, to drink lots of water so that wouldn't happen. I guess I'm getting my water!
I am now off the road and back at home. As good as it is to be here, I now have the temptations around me that I didn't have to worry about on the road. For instance, I started the year with a six-week menu of dinners. Scheduled for tonight's dinner was homemade pizza. Ugh! How I love homemade pizza. How I love Pizza Hut, Papa Murphy's, and Papa John's, too! But I refrained. I had my salad and did just fine. Tomorrow I'll make some soup and keep trucking right along.
I was reading some testimonials last night on the age management clinic's website regarding the cleanse and the subsequent Phase II four-week program. I remember one lady said, "And though I cheated at times, I still lost...." Cheat? I just can't do that. Who would I be cheating? I am committed to this cleanse and to the subsequent Phase II. I have jumped in with both feet, and I won't turn back until I have seen it through to the end.
Lord, please guide me along this path that You have set my feet upon. When I am hungry, may I look to You for sustenance. When I am tempted, may I cry out to You for shelter. Your name be the glory for what I have accomplished up until now and for the accomplishments that still lay before me.
Enjoy your day. Enjoy this blog.
