Aid Your Liver as it Works to Flush Toxins from Your System

Add the juice from half a lemon (or 1½ T. lemon juice) in one cup of warm water, drinking it just before breakfast.  Repeat the process again before dinner. 

This practice will aid your liver in flushing out unwanted toxins. It also stimulates blood circulation, reduces arterial pressure, and activates bile and intestinal secretions, resulting in more efficient fat metabolism. The tartness can also help to replace the craving you may have for salt, which helps in your efforts to reduce blood pressure.
I did this for the first time yesterday at breakfast, though I forgot to do it again at dinner.  Yeah.  It worked very well. 

Between this little preparation and my habit of sprinking ground flax seed on everything, you'd think I'd weigh about 100 pounds by now.  Not yet.  I guess making little changes each week won't have a dramatic, instantaneous effect on things.  But my hope is that they will have a commulative effect in helping me get my life together.
